FORESTRY SERVICES

FOR NW WASHINGTON

Sixty years ago, a Skagit Valley native logger by the name of Stan Janicki Jr. decided to start his own local logging company - Janicki Logging Co. Since then, JLC has managed more than 50,000 acres of privately held forestry farms and standing timber. Some of them are our own, and some of them are your neighbors'.

And now four generations later, Janicki Logging & Construction has grown into much more than "just" a timber harvester.

Today, JLC is one of the Northwest’s leading sustainable forestry consultants.

You can depend on us for forest management services that go well beyond timber cutting. These include sustainable forestry know-how to provide you with steady returns while creating healthy forests and streams. How? INVESTED IN
SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainable forestry not only ensures that future generations will have forests for the products they need while at the same time conserving the environment through carbon sequestration and protecting water and soil.

Building Relationships

One of the most important thing we've learned about forestry over the past 50 years is that, first and foremost, it's really a "people" business. And by "people" we don't just mean our land owner clients, but also the trucking and construction subcontractors, to mill operators, and regulators we work with on a daily basis. And our important relationships also include elected officials and representatives from various conservation organizations, community associations, recreational groups, and others.
